Health workers test positive for COVID-19 in Taraba state

At least 12 health workers have reportedly tested positive for the deadly COVID-19 in Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo, Taraba State.

Confirming the development, Acting Head of Clinical Services at the hospital, Dr. Ishaya Kwala, disclose this to newsmen after an emergency meeting of the technical committee on COVID-19 in the state.

According to him, the affected health workers are responding to treatment while mass testing is going on.

He said, "In the last one month we have tested 363 cases and 60 without the health workers turned out positive."
