The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Tuesday discovered new 749 cases across Nigeria bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 85,560.
Lagos State topple the day with 299 cases which was followed by Plateau State, Kaduna State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 131, 83 and 74 cases respectively.
Other states with new cases include; Kwara, 35; Sokoto, 26; Edo, 18; Kano, 17; Katsina, 16; Delta, 11; Nasarawa, 10; Ondo, 9; Bauchi, 9; Rivers, 5;
Akwa Ibom, 3; Jigawa, 1;Osun, 1 and Ekiti with a case.
Three people died to the virus yesterday bringing the total Covid-19 related death to 1,267 across the country.
580 patients, however, recovered from the virus on Tuesday which makes it the total of 71,937 person to have recovered from the disease since its first case was recorded in February.
Lagos State remains the most hit state with the total of 29,184 cases, with FCT which has total of 11,433, Kaduna and Plateau State have 50
