Global COVID-19 confirmed cases hit 5 millions

 Over 5 months ago after the first case was confirmed in wuhan city of China,the total global case is now over 5 millions confirmed cases.

According to data from John Hopkins University,the total confirmed cases of the Coronavirus has hit more that 5 millions people in the world.

Also, over 328,000 people have died globally from the disease and 1.9 million people have recovered.

The United States of America still remains the most affected country in term of confirmed cases and deaths,follow by Russia in the both scenarios.

Brazil has become the worst hit country in South America and likely to be the second most affected in the world as the country's health minister announced 888 deaths and almost 20,000 new cases in a single day, pushing the total cases in the South American countries to 19,000 deaths and 291,597 total confirmed cases.

America still remains the most affected continent,while Africa still remains the least affected with 68,347 confirmed cases.

Although,the figures given by African countries may be deemed underestimated due to the inaccurate and lack of good data system on the continent.
