The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, recorded new 917 Covid-19 cases on Sunday.
The new cases which was announced on Monday on it official Twitter handle, brings the total confirmed cases in the country 90,080.
The Federal Capital Territory accounted for most of cases with 222 new cases while it is followed by Lagos State where 214 cases were recorded.
Other states includes Kaduna State with 119; Plateau, 92; Nasarawa, 50; Oyo, 41; Adamawa, 33; Ondo, 32 ; Abia, 28; Ogun, 29; Rivers, 17; Kano, 16; Yobe, 14; Edo, 8; Anambra, 6; Ekiti, 5 and Jigawa State which recorded a single case.
The total cases in the country is now 90,080 confirmed case with total Covid-19 related death standing at 1,311 after 9 death was recorded on Sunday among which is a former Vice Chancellor of the Uniiversity of Lagos, Ibidapo-Obe was reported to have died of the virus.

However, 255 patients were discharged on Sunday bringing the total number of people discharged of the virus in the country to 75,044.
