NCDC records low Covid-19 cases in Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has on Saturday announced new 576 Covid-19 cases across the country.

The new cases means the country records it lowest in the past few weeks amids the second wave of the virus in the country.

As usual, Lagos State recorded the highest for the day with 277 cases, followed by the Federal Capital Territory where 90 cases were recorded on Saturday.

Other states include Oyo, 51; Nasarawa, 9; Sokoto 23; Anambra-14

Bauchi, 11; Imo kano, 10; Edo 10; Plateau, 10; Ogun, 9; Osun, 5; Jigawa, 3 and Rivers State which has 2 cases.

The total confirmed cases of people who have the virus remains 74,789 while that of death remains 1,302.

52 Covid-19 patients were also discharged after testing negative to the virus three times, bringing the total number of discharged people to 74,789.
