A 37 years old researcher who is on the the verge of making significant Coronavirus findings has been shot death.
Bing Liu,a medical researcher was found to have been shot dead on Saturday in his home in Ross township,north of Pittsburgh,the Allegheny county medical examiner said.
He has been shot in the head and neck, the agency said.
One hour after Liu's body was found,anither person,Hao Gu,46,was also discovered inside a car less than a mile away, it added.
Ross Township police Detective Sgt.Brian Kohlhepp told the Associated Press the the men "appeared to be connected beyond their proximity to each other." A motive for the killings remained unknown,and the relationship between the men was also unclear.
The reason for the murder may not be known but it's possible their might be some people who don't want the secret behind the Coronavirus be leaked which the victim might have found out.
