Lassa fever

 This is a disease caused by Lassa fever virus which is
spread mostly by rats that -ave many breasts known as multimammate.
Lassa fever is an infectious and dangerous diseases. It outbreaks always attract world attention.
Lassa fever is one of the fastest killing diseases after the manifestation of its symptoms.
Signs and symptoms
 The symptoms of lass fever are many varies from high fever to bleeding through body openings;

• High fever
• Sore throat
• Back pain 
• Chest pain
• Muscle pain
• Weakness
• Cough
• Vomiting
• Body duarhoea
• Swelling face,eyes and neck
• Stomach pain
• Restlessness 
• Bleeding through body openings like nose,ears,eyes,mouth and anus.

Prevention of Lassa fever

• Block all holes around your house
• Do not touch rats whether dead it alive with bare hands
• Do not spread food items along roadsides and open spaces
• Do not eat partly eaten good by rat or other animals
• Avoid eating rats or related animal as bush meat as rat can be mistaken for bush meat.
• Cook all food properly before eating 
• Store food and water away from rats and store in a properly covered container
• Dispose refuse into covered dustbin
• Keep your houses and environment always cleans
• Wash your hands with soap under running water
• Avoid self medication
• Clean hand after toileting and before eating.

Always be cautious if what you eats and avoid bush meat or avoid already butchered and process bush meat and seller or killer may have intentionally or inadvertently killed rat as bush meat.
