Is any sugar good or bad?

According to research, added sugar is the main content of our daily diets.

The initial recommended daily intake of sugar was not more than 12 teaspoons due to it ineffectiveness,it was further slashed to less than 6 teaspoons.
Free sugar(added to foods by the manufacturer, cook, or consumer, plus sugars naturally present in honey, syrups , and fruit juices ) make it easy to eat excess calories, and may not be needed for balance diet.
The questions has been if there is any difference between Glucose and fructose.
There is no evidence to show any significant difference between these two sugars in term of health implications.
In fact, fructose not glucose may be more dangerous to liver because all cells of the body can process glucose but only liver processes fructose which may be a burden on the liver.
It has also been suggested that fructose interferes with the proper functioning of the hormones ghrelin, which signals hunger to the brain, and leptin, which generates a feeling of satiety. This may cause us to over-eat.
However, some claim fructose is healthier than other sugars as it has a low glycaemic index, so does not raise blood sugar levels as much as glucose.
For this reason ,in 2015, food manufacturers in Europe who substitute other sugars with fructose can put a health claim on their products and boast of it.
Although, conclusion cannot be drawn from this research because there was high consumption of fructose in the research than it would have been in normal daily consumption.Overall, there is agreement that there's no significant difference between fructose and glucose in terms of health implications.
