The health benefits of kissing.

Kissing is one the sweetest things enjoy  by couples or those in intimate relationship, but hardly do they know it does great benefits to their health.

Hardly would you disagree with me that kisssing  is one of the things enjoyed in any relationship between a man and a woman.
Apart from pleasure derive from swapping of saliva, kissing also has many benefits which ranges from preventions of tooth decay to the release of anti stress hormones.

Men who often kiss are likely to live longer than those that do do not.
The following are the benefits and fact of kissing:
  • When you kiss, your mouth produces more saliva preventing tooth decay.
  • When two people kiss, they both burn from 2 to 26 calories per minute up to 30 muscles.
  • It relieves  stress, because during kissing, hormone cortisol is released thereby lowering blood pressure and optimising immune response.
  • It can also stop us from falling ill because the body systems of a kisser is often active and alerted.
  •  Due to the activeness of  the brain during kissing, the brains of those who kiss are always sharp and sound and also prevent mental problems like dementia and senile.
  • When you kiss someone for the first, you crave for more due to the surge of dopamine.
Apart from the benefits, kissing however involve some worrisome fact.
It the easiest mean to exchange millions of bacteria. One millilitre of saliva contains about 100,000,000 bacteria.

We swap an average of 9ml of water, 0.7mg of protein, 0.18mg of organic compounds, 0.71mg of different fats and 0.45mg of sodium chloride when we lock lips.

Do you know ?

We do a lot of it, an average person is estimated to have 20,160 minutes of their lifetime kissing. That’s 336 hours, or 14 whole days.

The longest kiss ever recorded was 58 hours, 35 minutes and 58 seconds – nearly two and a half days.

Why don't you intensify your kissing with your partner to show love while you also do yourself some good.
Lol
